FEVER RELIEF WATER WELL PROJECT
Fever Relief Water Well Project aims to resolve the issue of low-quality water, reduce effort and time of individuals to find water, and arrange water for the public and industrial market in rural area of Ghana. As per the nature of the project, it is designed and developed to cater to urgent water supply infrastructure development needs and sanitation systems in rural areas of Ghana. Due to these considerations, Water Well Project is the effective choice for water scarcity solutions and safe drinking water in villages and towns of Ghana which is expected to create easiness for individuals and the corporate sector.
This project is to be implemented over 120 months beginning in January 2023 which will add significant value to economic and social growth. Fever Relief Water Well Project is expected to bring increased and sustained access to improved water supply, improve sanitation in rural areas & institutional capacity, & achieve sustainable management and utilization of water resources. In effect, it will leave positive on the health and overall being of individuals & communities in rural areas of Ghana.
Currently, the management of Fever Relief Fund has planned to raise funds for Fever Relief Water Well Project through sponsorship. For that pursuit, we have designed different sponsorship packages. These packages provide wonderful promotional & marketing opportunities to sponsors.
ABOUT FEVER RELIEF FUND
Fever Relief Fund is a 501c3 non-profit organization that has operations in the United States and Ghana. It started operations in 2010 in the United States where Akwasi Oppong is the founder the organization. Akwasi is a native of Ghana and he is now a citizen of the United States. He always dreamed of changing the lives of people through value creation in US and Ghana which has guided him to focus on women and children.
At the start, Fever Relief Fund launched Kick Project which focused on serving children with special needs and low-income single parent homes. To serve the target audience, we used soccer games as a key tool to change the lives of children and their families where after school program activities both at home and abroad added great value. Other key projects of Fever Relief Fund are A Book In Hand, Change of Clothing, Project MD, and Project New Hope, and it has helped the organization to change lives of thousands of people in US and Ghana.
Currently, Fever Relief Fund has focused on Fever Relief Water Well Project which can resolve the issue of low-quality water, reduce the effort and time required to find water, improve the sanitation system, and arrange water for public and industrial market in the rural area of Ghana. In this way, it has shifted focus to a big project with a huge impact.
ANALYSIS OF GHANA’S WATER CRISIS
While some African countries suffer from a lack of water, Ghana suffers from too much-polluted water. The problem lies in a lack of functioning water filters in the country.
Rapid urbanization in Ghana causes water pollution. Unsafe housing with poor housing facilities like sinks and toilets pour polluted water into waterways. This has polluted freshwater streams.
One of the leading diseases affecting the people of Ghana is cholera. It spreads primarily through the use of faulty toilets and plumbing.
Dry winter winds, called harmattan, also cause water shortages in Ghana. This leads to water rationing, which of course leads to protests and public discontent. Deforestation & illegal gold mining further exacerbate the problem by further polluting the limited water supply.
Th ineffective water supply and sanitation system have worsened the lives of people in villages and towns of rural Ghana.

To have sustainable production and transfer of water Resources Fever Relief Water Well Project aims to have sustainable production and transfer of water resources resulting in improved access, quality, and security to safe drinking for human usage and the industrial sector in rural areas of Ghana.
